It is with great joy that I write to you today. On the eve of Yom Kippur, I am humbled, making my boast in the Master for His kindness to me, who by His Father’s Spirit, has revealed some truths that I have been longing to share with you.
Though it has taken much time to compile, I am pleased to announce our first extended study/mini-book entitled:
For The Love Of Truth | Possessing Your Eternal Life
I had been working on another manuscript that I had wanted to share specifically regarding the Day of Atonement, however, I believe Abba’s perfect timing has been accomplished in the completion of this work.
This study goes into the depths of Isaiah 6, and the ‘cloaked’ message that Yahuweh commissioned Yeshayahu (Isaiah) to preach.
“And He said, “Go, and you shall say to this people, ‘Hearing, you hear, but do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’ Make the heart of this people fat, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and shall turn and be healed.” – Isaiah 6:9-10
‘How long must I preach?’, Yeshayahu asked Yahuweh. Yahuweh replies, ‘until nothing is left but the stump; the set-apart seed is the stump.’ [my paraphrase]
Yeshayahu must have incredible lung power, as he is still blowing the shofar today. However, only those who have ears to hear the message, will understand it.
“Woe is me! For I am a man undone; because I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Master of hosts.” – Isaiah 6:5
If we are ever to be trusted by the Master to carry forth His Message, we must be cleansed, and set-apart unto His good work. Yeshayahu could not bring forth the message of truth without first being cleansed. And if we do not encounter the King, the Master of hosts, we will never admit our need to be cleansed.
To understand the message given to Yeshayahu is to understand the heart of the Father. If we do not possess what He loves, we have no part in Him. If we do nothing with what He has given us, He will remove it from us.
The House of Judah failed to possess a love for the Commandments of Yahuweh. Time and time again, He called out, but no one listened. In fact, even now, as the coldness of people grows steadily colder, no one is listening, not one is seeing, and no one is understanding.
‘Go, and be who you already are, He says. Here, I give to you what you have loved. Because you have not loved the truth enough to possess it, I take it away from you. But I do not leave you empty-handed. Here, take this delusion, so that you embrace the true love of your life…My Son comes quickly, and woe to those who do not love His appearing.’
This is from the grieved heart of the Creator, not to the wicked, but to His people. But because His people have not possessed, they have not prepared. And because they have not prepared, they will not see the Kingdom; it will be separated from them. It’s not the wicked who never knew the Creator that causes Him grief, but those whom He loved enough to call His own treasured possession. It is the ones who are closest to us, that hurt us the most.
If the Truth was sacrificed for us, is it too much to ask that we sacrifice ourselves for the Truth?
If we do not possess our eternal lives by our endurance, it will be taken from us (Luke 21:19). The window of repentance is narrowing, and we are asked to make certain of our calling and choosing (2 Peter 1:10). If we are ever going to see the Master of Esteem, we must empty ourselves right now of every abomination, every idol, and everything that exalts itself against the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Not loving one another, not forgiving one another…these are abominations in the eyes of the One who IS love.
If we do not love the truth now, putting it into us daily, we will be handed over to a powerful falsehood (strong delusion). The one coming who will yield great signs and wonders in the power of this delusion, is on the face of the earth right now. The spirit of anti-messiah is on the move, and if we are not possessing what he hates, [the truth], then we will be deceived – Matthew 24:24
In the words taken from Walter Donovan, a character in the Indiana Jones, Last Crusade movie…”It’s time to ask yourself what you believe.”
Rehearsal is coming to an end; it is showtime. The burning is coming. And only those who have counted the cost, and who have laid down all for the sake of the Master, will be around when the credits roll. The ‘stump’ is all that will remain.
Seek the heart of Abba over this Yom Kippur, by seeking the depths of your own heart. My goal is that I would make good on His choosing of me, to take part in His wonderous covenant. Oh my, for the joy that was set before the Master, has become the joy that I set before me everyday; to be gathered together with His family, unto Him, and into the richness of His Kingdom.
Joy to each of you, on this eve of Yom Kippur,
Shalom,
Derek
