Shabbat Thoughts (3/8/2014)

I’ve been praying and weeping a lot lately…praying for my voice to only be heard when it is relaying His voice! I only want to do, say and write what He tells me to!! I’ve been weeping for things going on in this world, the heaviness…pure wickedness that people are calling good…because it grieves Abba. We’ve been praying to hear His voice in everything we do. I’ve been repenting for things that He is bringing to the surface that I’ve done in the past unconsciously and/or am still doing, because Derek and I have been praying that He purge us of everything that is not of Him and to expose to us anything left in us that we need to repent of. We want to be used by Him for His purposes and to be completely pure and blameless before Him!! Last, it has been heavy on my heart to ensure our dependency is on one Person and one Person only…HIM! We are nothing without Him…we can’t accomplish anything without Him!! (Yochanan 15:5)

Today, as I was praying, I felt an urgency in my spirit to write down a dream I had last night. As I wrote the dream out, Abba revealed what the dream meant…that as Derek and I go forward into unknown countries and speak up for His Kingdom, that all our needs will be taken care of and we will be unharmed no matter what we face! Praise Yah!!

Right after I finished praying, I opened my Tehillim (book of Psalms) and it opened to the beginning of Psalm 91. As I read, I was filled with His joy and peace at the confirmation of what His Spirit revealed to me about the meaning of the dream! At the beginning of each Psalm, they have an opening paragraph. It said, “…one who recites (this psalm) with faith in Elohim, will be helped by Him in time of danger. In it, Moses speaks of the faithful believer who finds refuge in the shadow of the Almighty.” This opening along with all of Psalm 91 are an answer to our recent prayers!

As I shared the dream and confirmation with Derek, he told me that just yesterday, he felt in his spirit that Psalm 91 is one of the most important Psalms for all of us in Messiah to cling to during the time we have left before His return!

We encourage all of you to read Tehillim 91 today…let it fill you with His peace and joy…seek His presence and the desires of HIS heart…knowing He is your portion, your shield, your refuge!! Shabbat Shalom!

  1. *love*…and as always my all time favorite is Psalm 91

  2. Wonderful! Time is so short. We need to redeem the time and only trust in Him! I am grieving at the things being exposed lately. Things that have been hidden in darkness are coming to light and it is not a pretty picture.
