“Lift thine eyes to Mine. Thou shalt know of a surety that I love thee. Lift thy voice to Me in praise: so shall a fountain be opened within thee and thou shalt drink of its refreshing waters.”
“Come Away My Beloved” by Frances Roberts
When we lift our voices to praise Him and lift up His Name, we find His Presence, His joy, His peace (rest). When we focus on our circumstances, we will not “find” Him because we are blinded by our own hand.
When we focus on Him and what we have to be grateful for (our salvation/eternal life, a roof over our head, food, water, being free to spread His Word instead of in prison as many are around the world), we find Him, ready to show us His steadfast love and the fullness of His joy!
He told us to put on the garment of praise to get rid of the spirit of heaviness (despair)…see Isaiah 61:3! In Hebrew, the word is atah and literally means to put on/wrap/cover ourselves with the garment of praise so there are no openings to the oppressive works of darkness.
When we praise Him, we cast off the forces of darkness causing us to live in despair and invite Him to restore us to joy!
When you start to feel the spirit of heaviness or you simply don’t “feel” His Presence, repeat these verses and begin praising and singing songs of praise to Him!
“Let every thing that hath breath praise Yahuweh. Praise ye Yahuweh.” Psalm 150:6
“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of Elohim in Messiah Yahushua concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
“…giving thanks always and for everything to Elohim the Father in the name of our Master Yahushua Messiah;” Ephesians 5:20

Thank you for the encouraging words through scripture. In the last few months I have had health issues and tend to get down on myself, and have what we call a pity party. But through Abba’s words and His servants words od encouragement, He shows me how blessed I am. Thank you. Lee
Blessings! Thank you!
Thank you for this necessary reminder! Blessings to you both…..may your day be enriched with His Word and His presence.
Shalom to you!
